Communication
Communication
Communication between home and school is very important. Staff will contact you as soon as they have a concern related to academic progress or any other issue. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or a school administrator if you have questions of your own.
Classroom teachers will message families early in the year as to the preferred method for regular communication between the classroom and home. Email links for most staff can also be found on the Staff page of this website.
Please note that teachers cannot be expected to respond to parent communication during the instructional portion of the day. Any communication of an urgent nature between the hours of 8:20am – 2:40pm should be made through our Adminstrative Assistant in the main office. Same day changes related to student dismissal must be made before 1:30pm to ensure the message will be received and delivered to the classroom teacher and student before dismissal.
In addition, please provide an email address to the school office if you would like to receive the school newsletter or other important notices via email. Addresses are kept confidential and messages come directly from the Adminstrative Assistant, Principal or Vice Principal.
