A.B. Ellis P.S. offers academic programming for students in Kindergarten through to Grade 8.

Before and after school childcare is available from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm throught Tots Daycare.

Specialized programs are also offered for students requiring Intensive Support in the area of Autism and Intellectual or Developmental Needs. These programs are offered by teachers with additional qualifications in the area of Special Education who are supported by Educational Assistants to meet the needs of these students.

Students at A. B. Ellis have the opportunity to learn two of Canada’s other languages: French and Ojibwe. Core French is offered to all students from Grade 4 to 8 for 30 minutes daily. Where possible, students may take Ojibwe in place of French.

A.B. Ellis provides fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as yogurt, cheese and cereal bars to students on a daily basis. This program is made possible through the generosity of Better Beginnings Better Futures, The Human League and Breakfast Clubs of Canada and local volunteers.
